Are you currently accepting new patients?
Yes, and we hope to continue serving the Bendy population as much as possible.
Do I need a referral to come in for the exam and treatment?
No. We are a licensed health care provider and able to diagnose and treat joint hypermobility and postural imbalance.
What do I need to do to get started?
Please contact the clinic and set up your Solution Session. That is the up to 30 min. one-on-one session with Dr. Shakib to make sure you are the right candidate for our treatment protocol. If not, we will refer you to the right provider who is familiar with EDS, HSD and MCAS population.
Will you collaborate with my other providers involved in my health journey?
Absolutely YES. We do that often and will not leave you in the dark. Once you become a part of our family of patients, you will always be included.
How long is the treatment?
I won’t know! Not the answer you hoped for but please understand that everyone is different and we can’t even know where you stand without examining you. Once you schedule your Solution Session, we can at least see where you are at to have a better idea (though can’t ever predict the future).
Do you accept insurance?
We are out of network with all insurance plans and provide a Superbill so you may submit for potential reimbursements based on your insurance policy.
Do you do Telehealth treatments?
We are licensed in California and once a few in-person visits have been rendered, telehealth treatments are an option.
I am from from Out-of-State or from another country. Do you do Telehealth coaching?
Yes. Through our EnsureWellness Coaching, that is an option to practice.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
There is a $100 charge for less than 24 hour notice of cancellation or the no-shows. You will get a reminder 48 hours and an hour before your appointment as a courtesy and you are responsible for your own appointment.
Is your office fragrance-free?
Yes. We ask everyone to not wear products that include fragrance: body lotion, body wash, perfume, hair products, fabric softener, and laundry detergent to help our patients who are sensitive to fumes.
