Postural & Movement Stability
Your brain controls every movement your body makes. The blueprint for those movements—known as the motor homunculus—is what your body follows.
This map can change—and that’s actually a good thing. We are able to move on based on what is available to the brain at the time. So for instance, if your knee hurts, you won’t stop moving, you simply limp and shift your weight to the other side!

Through a brain-based neurological and postural assessment, I identify how your movement map has adapted and how well the sensory information shaping that map is working. Understanding these patterns allows me to teach movement and stability strategies that help you develop more efficient movement patterns through positive neuroplasticity.
When we focus only on a painful or unstable joint without understanding the “why” behind the pain and instability, lasting improvement is much harder to achieve.
It is the thoroughness of our assessment and our commitment to understanding the “why” behind your presentation that make our movement and stability approach so effective
